November 16th Election: ONU ANKPA calls for peace, warns supporters of political parties to thread carefully or face the wrath of the law.
Worried by the unpleasant, irresponsible and ungodly display of supporters of the People's Democratic Party - PDP in Ankpa LGA on Sunday 3rd November, 2019, the traditional ruler in Ankpa LGA, HRH the Onu Ankpa Alh. Abdulmalik Umar has issued a strict warning to supporters of political parties to stay off trouble and rather market their candidates constructively, or faces the wrath of the law. This, is coming after the public display of miscreants who came out to obstruct political rally of the All Progressive Congress - APC which has the Governor of Kogi State, H.E Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello in attendance. The ONU ANKPA on behalf of the Ankpa community, elders and traditional institution apologize to his Excellency and further warns that, henceforth, any supporter of both political parties who is caught obstructing, causing mayhem on other party supporters or the people shall be decisively dealt with in accordance with the law of the land.
