The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, RT. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello over the death of his mother Hajiya Hauwau Bello. In a condolence message, the Ankpa I legislator said: “I am profoundly touched by the passing of Hajiya Hauwau Bello and I join your entire family in mourning the inspiring mother. She had the unique grace of giving birth to a child that has become a jewel not only the people of Kogi Central, but to entire KOGI State. “On behalf of the good people of Ankpa I constituency and the numerous supporters of the APC in the state and beyond, i extend sympathy to our beloved governor and his family for the loss of HAJIYA Hauwau’’ he stated. A community philanthropist and traditional herbalist known within and outside Kogi State, Chief Dr. Aduh Salisu - Baba IFA Irukere AYA Orunmila, a native of IMANE in Olamaboro LGA has urged sons and daughters of the community within and outside KOGI State, to be involved in the development of the community. Baba IFA made the call on Saturday in his hometown IMANE Etèke during the commissioning of roundabout, which he built for his community. According to Chief Irukere, “a lot can be achieved in the development of our communities if individuals blessed by God give back to the society. There is no way a government can provide for all the needs of the people but, just a little sacrifice by individuals or group of friends to development of the communities can make a lot of difference in the life of the people,” he said.
