KOGI Deputy Speaker condoles with Governor Bello over loss of mother.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, RT. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has commiserated with the Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello over the death of his mother Hajiya Hauwau Bello. In a condolence message, the Ankpa I legislator said: “I am profoundly touched by the passing of Hajiya Hauwau Bello and I join your entire family in mourning the inspiring mother. She had the unique grace of giving birth to a child that has become a jewel not only the people of Kogi Central, but to entire KOGI State. “On behalf of the good people of Ankpa I constituency and the numerous supporters of the APC in the state and beyond, i extend sympathy to our beloved governor and his family for the loss of HAJIYA Hauwau’’ he stated. Chief Salisu Irukere urges IMANE Sons and Daughters to contribute to community development, Commissions roundabout for community.

A community philanthropist and traditional herbalist known within and outside Kogi State, Chief Dr. Aduh Salisu - Baba IFA Irukere AYA Orunmila, a native of IMANE in Olamaboro LGA has urged sons and daughters of the community within and outside KOGI State, to be involved in the development of the community. Baba IFA made the call on Saturday in his hometown IMANE Etèke during the commissioning of roundabout, which he built for his community. According to Chief Irukere, “a lot can be achieved in the development of our communities if individuals blessed by God give back to the society. There is no way a government can provide for all the needs of the people but, just a little sacrifice by individuals or group of friends to development of the communities can make a lot of difference in the life of the people,” he said. Ahmed Mohammed congratulate the newly appointed Senior Special Advisers (SSA) on Security Matters across the Twenty One (21) LGA and other SSAs appointed by his Excellency Governor Yahaya Bello. The legislator who commend the effort of Governor for always taking proactive measures in handling security matters ahead of time in KOGI State, charged the new appointees to work with the the state Commissioner of Police and other security agencies along with Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs across the 21 LGA in handling security matters pending the election of Local Government Chairmen.
