As Muslims all around the world begins fast in the holy month of Ramadan, the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly & member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed felicitate and enjoined Muslims to imbibe the virtues of love, peace and sacrifice, which were the attributes of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and intensify prayers to God to heal the world of the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging nations and killing people in their thousands as Government strives on its part to control the spread of the virus. Easter celebration: Kogi Deputy Speaker Felicitate with Christians.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has felicitated with Christians on the occasion of Easter, urged the people of his constituency to embrace the lessons of Easter as a practical guide to life. In his Easter Message, the Deputy Speaker noted that the sacrifice of Jesus Christ according to christain teachings, through the sadness, pain and despair of the Crucifixion, also embodied hope, liberation and victory over darkness, as evidenced in the Resurrection. Rt. Hon. Ahmed Ahmed  said that through tough and calm times, people of faith have an example to emulate. Easter is a pointer to the power of hope, and a demonstration that sacrifice ultimately brings liberation and victory. Enjema Crisis: Kogi Deputy Speaker calls for peace, urges security agencies to beef up in protecting the people.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, RT. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed condemned the recent violence in Enjema community which has claim lives and destruction of properties. The legislator who expressed disappointment at the rate at which youths take laws into their hands to destroy properties, kill innocent people over issues that can be resolved amicably said, we must as a people not take laws into our hands when there are disagreements. He called on the youths to remain peaceful, while urging stakeholders, traditional rulers and security agencies to as a matter of urgency come up with measures that will bring peace and equally the perpetrators to book. He equally applaud the state government effort in ensuring that the security of lives and property of Kogites is it's topmost priority.
