Thursday 28th May, 2020 Photo news: From Ubokpo community in Ankpa LGA. Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed attends the Eight (8) day fidau prayer of late Hajiya Mariam Jibrin Abagwu, the mother of the SSA on security to Ankpa LGA, Hon. Ibrahim Abagwu  He then proceed to attend the fidau prayer of late Alh. Hussaini Achimi Adaji, and sympathize with the family. The Deputy Speaker prayed to Allah to grant the soul of the deceased Aljannah. The fidau session had in attendance party leaders,  community chiefs, Islamic scholars and well wishers within and outside Ankpa LGA. Photos:

Eid El Fitri: Kogi Deputy Speaker facilitate with Muslims Ummah, call for prayers for the State and the Nation, Kogi State

As Muslims all over the world mark Eid-el-Fitr, the Deputy Speaker Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed congratulated Muslims all across board, particularly faithfuls in Kogi State for the successful Ramadan fast and Salatul Eid El Fitri, while he admonished them to offer prayers for country and state. He noted that in such a time when the world was being ravaged by Corona virus and other threats to human life, Muslim faithfuls should see this as an opportunity to offer earnest prayers for the preservation of humanity. Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed enjoined that the act of generosity and charity particularly to the less privileged, vulnerable, orphans should be undertaken by Muslims as this would go a long way to offer succor to those in these categories. Ahmed Mohammed has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello and his Deputy Chief David Edward Onoja, on their victory at the Kogi State Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Abuja against the Governorship candidate of the People Democratic Party (PDP). 100 Days in office: Kogi State Deputy Speaker congratulates Gov. Yahaya Bello and Edward Onoja.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and also member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has congratulated his Excellency Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello and his Deputy Chief Edward Onoja as the administration marks 100 days in office.
