A Bill for a law to make provision for the Establishment of Celuke College of Health Technology, Oji-Apata passes Third and Final reading.

Passed into law by the the Kogi State House of Assembly.

The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. School, Demonstration Sec School, Unity Comprehensive Sec school, Dynamic International Group of School, Ankpa LGA Special Day Sec. School, and Govt. Girls Sec. School Okaba. The Science subjects selected for the quiz programmes are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Residents of Ubelle/Allor Community Commend Kogi Deputy Speaker for Grading/Opening Abandoned road.

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who is also a member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has received commendations, prayers and words of encouragement from the people of Ubelle and Allor community, as equipments arrived and have started opening and grading of the major rural road. The road which passes from Ubelle to Allor has long been abandoned and not accessible. While visiting the communities that were badly affected by constant rainfall and erosion, the legislator assures the community that measures will be taken to ensure that, the major access road that link Ubelle to Allor which was long abandoned shall be open to make movement of their goods and other economic activities easier. The Special Adviser to the Governor on Climate Change and former Administrator of Ankpa Local Government Area, Hon. Chief John Aduga, has commiserated with His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, following the death of his beloved father. In a condolence message, Hon. Chief Aduga expressed deep sympathy with the Governor and his family during this moment of grief. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and asked Almighty God to grant Governor Ododo and the entire bereaved family the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. Hon. Aduga described the late patriarch as a remarkable father whose legacy lives on through his children and the values he instilled in them.
