Kogi Deputy Speaker, donates Ram, food items and money to constituents for Sallah festivals.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and legislator representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed today in his hometown Abache - Ankpa LGA distributed Sallah Ram, food  items and cash to the people of his constituency.

He said that the gesture was to assist his constituents at this trying times and 
urged the beneficiaries to use the items to improve their standard of living and possibly assist others.
According to him, the Sallah package distributed to various communities  include 200 bags of 25kg of rice, 100 bags of 25kg of millets, over 300 tubers of yam, Rams which were distributed to some beneficiaries and an undisclosed amount of money.

The lawmaker also assured the people of his constituency of sound and quality representation at the state legislature in the interest of peace and development.

He called on the people of his constituency and Nigerians to take caution by observing protocols and regulations set out by PTF, WHO on COVID 19 as they prepare for Eid-el-Kabir celebration.

Residents of Ubelle/Allor Community Commend Kogi Deputy Speaker for Grading/Opening Abandoned road.

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who is also a member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has received commendations, prayers and words of encouragement from the people of Ubelle and Allor community, as equipments arrived and have started opening and grading of the major rural road. The road which passes from Ubelle to Allor has long been abandoned and not accessible. While visiting the communities that were badly affected by constant rainfall and erosion, the legislator assures the community that measures will be taken to ensure that, the major access road that link Ubelle to Allor which was long abandoned shall be open to make movement of their goods and other economic activities easier.
