Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed felicitate with Alh. Idris Kaura, Engr. Khasim Akor on chieftaincy title

Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, representing Ankpa 1 constituency has felicitated with Alh Abubakar Idris Kaura, Director, Ministry of Interior as Madaki Onu Ojoku - Kaura, and Engineer Khasim Akor, DG, National Productivity Centre as Achema Onu Ojoku respectively.
Rt. Honorable Ahmed Mohammed while congratulating the duo describes them as a noble son of the land, who has duly paid their dues by both in civil service and contributed greatly to the development of their community.
I Congratulate my brothers for this well-deserved honour. It is a confirmation of their philanthropic gestures and excellent human relations for which they has been known over the years. I pray to Almighty Allah to continue to bless them to serve the people with time and resources.
The chieftaincy title was bestowed upon the two illustrious sons by the Onu Ojoku, HRH Alhaji Muhammed Ogbe at his palace and had in attendance top Political Leaders from Ankpa LGA, Religious leaders, stakeholders and well wishers.

The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. School, Demonstration Sec School, Unity Comprehensive Sec school, Dynamic International Group of School, Ankpa LGA Special Day Sec. School, and Govt. Girls Sec. School Okaba. The Science subjects selected for the quiz programmes are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Breaking News: Muri/SDP floors ODODO as Supreme Court grants stay of execution

In a significant development, the Supreme Court has issued a stay of execution on the orders of the Court of Appeal, which were previously granted on March 1st, 2024. These orders had set aside the inspections conducted by the Petitioners, as well as orders G, K, and N of the Tribunal's orders from November 25th, 2023. The legal team representing the Petitioners, led by Chief J.S. Okutepa SAN and including Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, passionately argued for the stay during today's hearing, expressing concern over the irreversible damage the Court of Appeal's orders would inflict on their clients. Responding to their plea, the Supreme Court granted the interim stay and ordered relief in accordance with the motion filed on March 5th, 2024. The hearing on the motion on notice has now been adjourned to March 11th, 2024.

Breaking: Fresh Petition Accuse Yahaya Bello, Ododo of stealing over N300 Billion Local Government Funds

A fresh petition before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has accused former Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, of conniving with others to either loot or misappropriate over N300Billion allocation to the 21 Local Governments of the state between May 2016-January 2024. On Wednesday, operatives of EFCC had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an ongoing fraud investigation. But Ododo arrived the former Governor’s residence and helped him to evade arrest by smuggling him out. However, the fresh petition listed all the 21 immediate past Local Government Chairmen who served during Bello as co-conspirators in the looting of the over N300billion LG funds. The petition signed by a group known as Kogi Conscience stated that in 2016, N23.1billion was received as Kogi Local Govt Allocations and in 2018, N43.6billion was received.
