Ankpa LGA: Mamoth crowd in Ankpa township as Hon. Ahmed Ahmed declares intention: APC Executives passes vote of confidence, Submit letter to Party Chairman

There was a mammoth crowd on Saturday 15th Sept 2018 as the lawmaker representing Ankpa I State Constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly declares his intention to Re-contest the seat of Ankpa I State Constituency in the forthcoming general election. The declaration which took place at the APC secretariat Ankpa LGA, has in attendance political heavyweights from within and outside Ankpa LGA, the Chief of Staff to the governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello, leaders and stakeholders, youth groups and women.

Hon. Ahmed Ahmed explained the rationale behind his decision to run for the second term as member representing Ankpa I constituency as in the interest of the people he currently represent, adding that he had made all necessary consultations.
Speaking at the event, the Chairman of the All Progressive Congress in Ankpa LGA, Hon. Abdullahi Zakari describes the very huge turnout and show of love as "The mother of all" endorsement. Adding that the people has spoken their minds already.

In a related development, The chairman of the five wards and party Executives from Ankpa 1 constituency unanimously in written and signed endorsed the Deputy majority leader for a second term and presented their letters to the party chairman.
The APC ward Chairman Ankpa township and chairman of the thirteen ward chairmen, Hon Danladi Negedu while making the presentation on behalf of the executives said; “We have met and pass a vote of confidence on you. And we fully endorsed you to recontest in the 2019 general elections. This is due to your excellent performance in office so far. You exposed so many politicians who have represented us in the past". He said.
