KGSG redeploys appointees, makes new appointment

The Kogi State Government on Monday have announced the redeployment of some of its appointees to other sector of its administration while it also appointed new Local Government Administrators  to replace those who were redeployed.

The news of the shake ups and appointments was made public  in a press release signed by the Director General Media and Publicity to the Governor of Kogi State, Honourable Kingsley Fanwo Under the directives of the Secretary to the State Government, Mrs. Folashede Arike Ayooade.

The directive which was to take immediate effect, was expected to impact on good governance at all levels

Former Local Government Administrators of Idah, Honourable Suleiman Amodu,  Ofu, Honourable sule egbiti, and Ankpa Hon. Mohammed Ibrahim (Ayuba Nana) were redeployed as Senior Special Assistants to His Excellency on Boundary and Delineation Matters, Social Investment Programs and Gas and Petroleum resources respectively.

However Honourable Hillary Amodu Edime, Honourable Hassan A. Sani and Honourable John Aduga were newly appointed as the Local Government Administrators of Idah, ofu and Ankpa in that same order

Other appointments were that of Honourable Ogbobe Augustine Isaac as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Legislative Matters  and Mr. Patrick Onalo who replaced Honourable Thomas Ofor as the Senior Special Assistant to the State Governor on Solid Minerals.

The Kogi State DG media reaffirmed that the administrative actions were intended to match skills to jobs in order to improve efficiency and effectiveness of appointees, and by extension, the Administration.
