Kogi State Deputy Speaker mourns the demise of the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Nasir Ajanah

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed condoles with the families of Late Hon. Justice Nasir Ajanah who died on Sunday June 28th 2020 after a brief illness. The late Hon. Justice Nasir Ajanah who is the Kogi State Chief Judge is a native of Okehi local government council of Kogi State. The Deputy Speaker describes the late legal luminary as an outstanding legal practitioner and an extremely strong voice in national affairs who carried itself with remarkable distinction, and the society will forever acknowledged its leadership role. The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed condoles with the families of Late Justice Ibrahim Shaibu Atadoga who died on Sunday June 2nd 2020 after a brief illness. The late Justice Ibrahim Shaibu Atadoga who is the President of the Kogi State Customary Court of Appeal is a native of Omala L.G.A, he was instrumental to the creation of the Customary Court of Appeal in Kogi State. The legislator describes the late legal luminary as an outstanding legal practitioner and an extremely strong voice in national affairs who carried itself with remarkable distinction, and the society will forever acknowledged its leadership role. He prayed to God Almighty to comfort all who are bereaved, and to grant the soul of his departed Lordship eternal rest in peace. AMEN! AND AMEN

Kogi Deputy Speaker condemn killing of two women from Enjema/Emabu community; calls for peace

The Deputy Speaker expressed shock over the incident which he described as evil and barbaric, for a man to kill two unarmed women at a farm over issues that may be resolved peacefully and amicably. While expressing confidence in the security architecture of the state, headed by the SSA security in Ankpa LGA, to fish out the perpetrator, he said as stakeholders they would not leave any stones unturned until the culprit is brought to face the law. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased and asked for divine fortitude for the families and relations left behind, and sue for peace between affected communities. Ahmed Mohammed Today 6th June, 2020 marks exactly 365 days i took oath of office with other distinguished honourable members of the seventh assembly to represent the people of Ankpa 1 state constituency in the Kogi Sate House of Assembly. I was also nominated by my colleagues to serve as the Deputy Speaker. I give thanks and pray to Almighty Allah for the journey so far, and i congratulate all of us, not only for the time we have spent, but also for all that we have achieved together within the short time and all that we have planned to achieve for our people. I thank the people of my constituency for their love, confidence and support I have enjoyed over the years as a state legislator. Ahmed Attah over the demise of his beloved father, late Pa Atta Akwuga The lawmaker who paid a condolence visit to Hon. Ahmedi Attah in his hometown said Pa Attah Akwuga returned to his Creator as a very blessed and fulfilled man who lived to see his son grow and become a factor in Kogi State and Igala land, praying that God Almighty will grant his late father peaceful and eternal rest from his labours on earth.
