Kogi Deputy Speaker condemn killing of two women from Enjema/Emabu community; calls for peace
The Deputy Speaker expressed shock over the incident which he described as evil and barbaric, for a man to kill two unarmed women at a farm over issues that may be resolved peacefully and amicably.
While expressing confidence in the security architecture of the state, headed by the SSA security in Ankpa LGA, to fish out the perpetrator, he said as stakeholders they would not leave any stones unturned until the culprit is brought to face the law.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased and asked for divine fortitude for the families and relations left behind, and sue for peace between affected communities.
The ugly incident too place in Odogomu community in Ankpa LGA while the deceased, Jemila Kerimu and Rabietu Yusuf are both native of Emabu and Enjema in Ankpa LGA
