Kogi State Deputy Speaker expresses shock over the fatal Tanker Explosion at Felele, prays for the deceased.

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed expressed shock over the fatal tanker explosion which occured at Felele this morning claiming lives of many and properties destroyed.

The Deputy Speaker said he was saddened by the lives lost in the unfortunate incident and the pains it inflicted on families. In his words; “My heart goes out to all the victims of the fuel tanker explosion. This is the most horrendous way to die. I am too shocked and traumatized to express the depth of my grief for the victims of the explosion. We must try and reach out to the victims’ families who are affected by these avoidable deaths. This is one tragedy too many. I am confident that the State Government will do something to ensure this does not happen again,” he said.

While praying to God to grant the soul of the deceased eternal rest, he called on students of Kogi State Polytechnic to remain calm and peaceful over the death of some of their colleagues in the disaster.
