Member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed expressed his condolences to the families of victims of the Wednesday petrol tanker accident in Ankpa/Oturkpo Road which claim lives and properties. The former Deputy Speaker said he was deeply saddened by the dreadful loss of lives resulting from the explosion, as he described the accident as a major tragedy for the local government. Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed beseeched the Almighty God to grant solace and respite to the bereaved families while granting repose to the souls of the deceased. His words: "Our prayers are with the victims of the unfortunate incident. I pray for the repose of the souls of the departed ones and the fortitude for their families to bear the irreparable loss, while I also wish the injured ones quick recovery and return to their normal activities."
