NYSC NATIONAL GOVERNING BOARD RATES GOV. BELLO HIGH ON SECURITY, YOUTH EMPOWERMENT AND COMMITMENT TO THE SCHEME

The National Governing Body of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC earlier today applauded the giant stride efforts of the youth loving and friendly Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoja Bello to the youth constituency and the NYSC scheme

The leadership of the apex body which comprises Commissioners for Youth and Sports Development across the 36 states of Nigeria disclosed this earlier today during the National Governing Board Meeting held at Johnwood Hotel, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja 

The group under the Chairmanship of Amb. Fatima Balla Abubakar described the outstanding commitment and support of Governor Bello in providing enabling environment for young Nigerians to complete their mandatory one year National Service as commendable in upholding and allowing accomplishment of the scheme's tenets/ principles of operation in the state.

The National leadership of the board further highlighted on some of Governor Bello's unalloyed and practical act of support to the scheme within the state to include Provision of Automatic Job Employment to corp members which captured a physically challenged (disabled) Corp member and one Mary Aimuan KG/218/1048 who observed their national youth service on the shore of the confluence as respective beneficiaries.

Governor Bello's free donation of 10 Million Naira for the welfare of  the NYSC Batch 'B' Stream 1 of 2022 Corp members on the occasion of their passing out parade (POP) at the Confluence State Capital was also highly acknowledged

The workaholic Governor Bello also won applause on the General Security situation of the State in providing and upholding enabling environment for Corp members to carry out their primary assignment to the fullest 

The meeting had in attendance Honourable Idris Musa (Danjuma Oando), Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development who doubles as Chairman State Governing Board, National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) as participant and representative of Kogi State.
