Governor Yahaya Bello Receives Torch of Unity For Asaba 2022 National Sport Festival (NSF)

Receiving the Torch of Unity on behalf of the Governor at the Kogi State Government House, Lokoja on Friday, the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Pharmacist Jamiu Abdulkareem Asuku assured Mr Saka Hakim a representative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports Dev. that Kogi State will no doubt participate in the festival.

The Governor also disclosed that every obligations necessary for Kogi State to participate at the event will be facilitated.
"I want to assured you that Kogi State will participate at the National Sport Festival, tag Asaba 2022 and everything financial obligations to enable the team to participate favourably will in the event will be facilitated) He said.

Kogi State Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Hon. Musa Idris who earlier received the Torch of Unity from teams of Ministry of Youth and Sports and presented same to the Governor said: "Kogi State is home to varieties of Sports like football, Basketball and others stating that Kogi will not only participate at the event but will pull a shocker by competing favourably for medals."

Residents of Ubelle/Allor Community Commend Kogi Deputy Speaker for Grading/Opening Abandoned road.

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who is also a member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has received commendations, prayers and words of encouragement from the people of Ubelle and Allor community, as equipments arrived and have started opening and grading of the major rural road.
