YOUTHFULNESS IS NOT FOR MERRIMENT BUT FOR A TARGET.

Human beings are apparently a product of successive stages of growth and development till his or her demise.  Just as we know. " Time wait for no one and opportunity lost is always not remained".

The essence of youthfulness is defeated if its concept is misaligned or misunderstood by the youths. The grace of youthfulness is not eternal but vanishes with respect to time and so the earlier we realize and make the right choice the better it will be.
Youthfulness by definition, is the developmental stage of full physical, social, emotional and intellectual advancement. It is a stage of high masculinity, virilism, vigour and exposure.

Today, we the youths seemingly do not realize and recognize the cruciality of our virilism and high masculine standards. In order to sustain and maintain the existing peace, progress, security and dividend of democracy in our local Government for the yet to come in our children's generation, we are the only source and hope of change in any community. For that, we must throw our youthful weight to this current administration so that this our brightful Local Government will strive positively, without tyranism and victimization. Ankpa shall remain one, bonded by love, unity and oneness we shall forever.

This current administration recognizes the youth to be the bedrock of every community because of their youthful importance and purposes. More so, The present Ankpa local Government administration among its priority for the youth has extricate,  abolished,  extinguished the act of considering youths as an instrument of political thuggery, murder, electoral vices and other atrocities, thereby establishing a youth empowerment program with hundreds beneficiaries for the teeming youth of Ankpa local government to refrain them from that unproductive profession.

WHY ARE WE YOUTHS?

We the youths has very vital roles to play in our community. One of which is to ensure good leadership and governance in order to maintain peace and security but we will be deprived if we do not play our youthful wisely and actively. My dear readers, it is now a thing of great Joy and rejoice that our current representative, the honorable member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency and the Deputy majority leader, Kogi State House of Assembly, HONOURABLE AHMED MOHAMMED has "Distinguished" himself honorably, and has also, proven to so many that, the present and future lies in the hands of the youths. Within his short time representing the good people of Ankpa 1 constituency, he has achieved the following;

1. Providing to rural communities (about 21) via his project tagged "Operation water for all".

2. Skill Acquisition program (Tailoring, Mechanical engineering, computer training, etc).

3. His grassroot education program tagged "Back to School Education Support initiative" through which he has offered scholarship to students (From Primary, Secondary up to University Level). Supply of school writing materials to students, building and renovation of schools, etc. All this are verifiable.

4. Youth Empowerment.

5. Welfare package for widows, and the elderly. And lots more.

Be rest assured that our importance and role as youth in Ankpa local Government at large will be regained if we allow our arms to teeth HONOURABLE AHMED MOHAMMED again to wipe off our tears
The power is in you, in me and in us.

The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. School, Demonstration Sec School, Unity Comprehensive Sec school, Dynamic International Group of School, Ankpa LGA Special Day Sec. School, and Govt. Girls Sec. School Okaba. Breaking News: Muri/SDP floors ODODO as Supreme Court grants stay of execution

In a significant development, the Supreme Court has issued a stay of execution on the orders of the Court of Appeal, which were previously granted on March 1st, 2024. These orders had set aside the inspections conducted by the Petitioners, as well as orders G, K, and N of the Tribunal's orders from November 25th, 2023. The legal team representing the Petitioners, led by Chief J.S. Okutepa SAN and including Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, passionately argued for the stay during today's hearing, expressing concern over the irreversible damage the Court of Appeal's orders would inflict on their clients. Responding to their plea, the Supreme Court granted the interim stay and ordered relief in accordance with the motion filed on March 5th, 2024. The hearing on the motion on notice has now been adjourned to March 11th, 2024.

Breaking: Fresh Petition Accuse Yahaya Bello, Ododo of stealing over N300 Billion Local Government Funds

A fresh petition before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has accused former Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, of conniving with others to either loot or misappropriate over N300Billion allocation to the 21 Local Governments of the state between May 2016-January 2024. On Wednesday, operatives of EFCC had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an ongoing fraud investigation. But Ododo arrived the former Governor’s residence and helped him to evade arrest by smuggling him out. However, the fresh petition listed all the 21 immediate past Local Government Chairmen who served during Bello as co-conspirators in the looting of the over N300billion LG funds. The petition signed by a group known as Kogi Conscience stated that in 2016, N23.1billion was received as Kogi Local Govt Allocations and in 2018, N43.6billion was received.
