MURI AJAKA: UNIFYING POSTURE QUALITIES PARALYSES BELLO'S DIVIDE AND RULE ANTICS.

The true picture of the Kogi November election is so blurry, this is because of the dangerous posture the politics of the state is made to assume. It is the truth beyond politics when we say that Yahaya Bello is the reason for the animosity that is the center of our politics today.

Some analysts argued that BELLO's aim of towing the path of ethnically dividing the state revolves around his innate hate for the West and the East, others believes that this strategy of Bello is for self preservation and an aim to cover his tracks after looting the state dry. People very close to Bello are of the opinion that his choice of Ododo his cousin and tribesman is strategic because Ododo is not bold and well exposed to go against any decision taken by Yahaya Bello and by extension if Ododo wins, he will mobilize the state resources in support of the ambition of Yahaya Bello to contest against president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

It is audible to the deaf that the only strategy of Yahaya Bello going into the 2023 November governorship election is dividing the East and West against themselves and ruling them. Yahaya Bello for his selfish interest positioned the central part of the state to look like the enemy of the West and East and used people from those regions as his operational tools.

In a time when Yahaya Bello is destroying the very fiber that is binding kogites together for his personal interest, Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka the SDP candidate and the people's choice is building bridges across the state. If not for the timely intervention of Yakubu Ajaka by throwing his hat into the race, Yahaya Bello would've succeeded in achieving his sinister aim.

Alhaji Murtala Yakubu Ajaka stands out as the symbol of Kogi's unification. Unlike GYB and his cousin Ododo, Ajaka is pro the people and widely accepted because of his ideals and stands against the devilish third term ambition of Yahaya Bello. The unifying stand of Murtala Ajaka paralyzed the ethnic divide and rule formula GYB adopted. Murtala Yakubu Ajaka represents a new era of competence and vision for Kogites in the Central, Western and Eastern part of the state.

In the often turbulent waters of Kogi politics, Alhaji Ajaka stands out as a beacon of hope, honesty, competency and unity. He is committed to providing ethical governance, transparency, and accountability and the unification of the state so divided by GYB. He has consistently upheld the highest standards of honesty and has instilled confidence in the people that their resources will be used to better their lives and equally distributed without showing preference. This is contrary to the position of GYB and Ododo.

Ajaka has reinforced the people's belief in the transformative power of visionary leadership, competence, and integrity. As we move forward, we have no doubt that his victory will be the driving force for positive change in Kogi State and ultimately lay to rest GYB's antics of dividing the state and favouring one group over another.

Murtala Yakubu Ajaka is the antidote to GYB's divide and rule posture for 11/11/2023.

Breaking News: Muri/SDP floors ODODO as Supreme Court grants stay of execution

In a significant development, the Supreme Court has issued a stay of execution on the orders of the Court of Appeal, which were previously granted on March 1st, 2024. These orders had set aside the inspections conducted by the Petitioners, as well as orders G, K, and N of the Tribunal's orders from November 25th, 2023. The legal team representing the Petitioners, led by Chief J.S. Okutepa SAN and including Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, passionately argued for the stay during today's hearing, expressing concern over the irreversible damage the Court of Appeal's orders would inflict on their clients. Responding to their plea, the Supreme Court granted the interim stay and ordered relief in accordance with the motion filed on March 5th, 2024. The hearing on the motion on notice has now been adjourned to March 11th, 2024.

Breaking: Fresh Petition Accuse Yahaya Bello, Ododo of stealing over N300 Billion Local Government Funds

A fresh petition before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has accused former Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, of conniving with others to either loot or misappropriate over N300Billion allocation to the 21 Local Governments of the state between May 2016-January 2024. On Wednesday, operatives of EFCC had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an ongoing fraud investigation. But Ododo arrived the former Governor’s residence and helped him to evade arrest by smuggling him out. However, the fresh petition listed all the 21 immediate past Local Government Chairmen who served during Bello as co-conspirators in the looting of the over N300billion LG funds. The petition signed by a group known as Kogi Conscience stated that in 2016, N23.1billion was received as Kogi Local Govt Allocations and in 2018, N43.6billion was received.
