The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed commiserated with families of those who died in a road mishap along Ankpa/Opulega road yesterday on their way to grace a wedding Fatiha at Okura. The Deputy Speaker described the incident as painful, sad and unfortunate, saying it is a huge loss to the families, their loved ones and Ankpa LGA as a whole as most of the victims were very promising youths. He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.

Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed, the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly & member representing Ankpa 1 constituency said that good leaders and governance would be possible in Kogi State if youths would be reoriented to become agents of change. Ahmed, who was a guest at 2019 Youth Peace Camp said that the youths should stand up and be counted among those that would change the state and country at large. "As youths, you need to know that you are the future of this state and after this camp, it is expected of you to go out as a different person in character and learning.
