Deputy Speaker Sympathizes with families of accident victims in Ankpa LGA

The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed commiserated with families of those who died in a road mishap along Ankpa/Opulega road yesterday on their way to grace a wedding Fatiha at Okura. The Deputy Speaker described the incident as painful, sad and unfortunate, saying it is a huge loss to the families, their loved ones and Ankpa LGA as a whole as most of the victims were very promising youths. He prayed God to grant the deceased eternal rest.

Kogi Deputy Speaker preach Peace, Unity Among Igala Students and Youths in diaspora

Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed urges Igala Students in diaspora to always be their brothers keeper, show love and live peacefully among themselves. He disclosed this in his remark at the celebration of “Igala Day” organised by Igala Students association, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He said one of the benefits of celebrating a day like this is to bring together to help create a synergy and unity amongst themselves. Ahmed Mohammed, the Deputy Speaker Kogi House of Assembly and Member Representing ANKPA 1 in the Kogi State House of Assembly on Friday received a Hero’s Welcome at his arrival at the Port Harcourt International Airport. Ahmed Mohammed, the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly & member representing Ankpa 1 constituency said that good leaders and governance would be possible in Kogi State if youths would be reoriented to become agents of change. Ahmed, who was a guest at 2019 Youth Peace Camp said that the youths should stand up and be counted among those that would change the state and country at large. "As youths, you need to know that you are the future of this state and after this camp, it is expected of you to go out as a different person in character and learning. I encourage you to be productive, shun violence and be a good example to the society. Get up and be engaged with something positively.
