Ahmed Mohammed announces scholarship award to the three category of winners in the just concluded Science Quiz Competition which was held at St. Charles College Ankpa. The Deputy Speaker who was represented by his Senior Legislative Aide, Prince Tijani Dauda yesterday Wednesday 30th October, 2019 said the scholarship award is for the three students each from the three schools who emerge First, Second and Third position respectively. The Competition which was Kneely contested among science secondary schools in Ankpa saw ALEKA ACADEMY emerge First, DEMONSTRATION SECONDARY SCHOOL emerge second position, and ST. The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. School, Demonstration Sec School, Unity Comprehensive Sec school, Dynamic International Group of School, Ankpa LGA Special Day Sec. School, and Govt. Girls Sec. School Okaba. The Science subjects selected for the quiz programmes are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. On Saturday 19th October, 2019 at Abache - Ankpa LGA, the Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed inaugurate GYB/CEDO Grassroots Movement across the polling units in Ankpa District. The ceremony which took place with the coordinators from all the voting units were given a task to ensure that, more sensitization and mobilization is done in the grassroot to ensure massive victory in the Gubernatorial election. The Deputy Speaker appreciate their dogged effort in the last election, which see APC winning with a very wide margin. This, according to him will boost the moral and intellectual capacity of students who lost interest in taking science courses at the elementary level,  and also, will encourage the younger ones to take academic seriously. Kogi Deputy Speaker set to fulfill campaign promises to Omagajiya Women of Udama District, to build a TownHall in Okenyi - Ankpa LGA.   The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly and member representing Ankpa I constituency, Rt. Ahmed Mohammed of Ankpa I constituency this morning received delegation from the Hausa Community in Ankpa LGA to declare their full support to the victory of his Excellency Alhaji Adoza Bello as the next Governor of Kogi State. The delegation which was headed by prominent Angwa Hausawa leaders and stakeholders also came with a message of appreciation to the Deputy Speaker  for building a befitting house for people living with disabilities in the community. The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who is also a member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has received commendations, prayers and words of encouragement from the people of Ubelle and Allor community, as equipments arrived and have started opening and grading of the major rural road. The road which passes from Ubelle to Allor has long been abandoned and not accessible.
