Development of infrastructure within rural community is my priority:- Kogi Deputy Speaker
The Deputy Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed assured resident living in rural communities that, he remains committed to ensuring that life is made easier for rural dwellers within his constituency through the provision of quality roads and other basic infrastructure. According to him, as the people's representative at the State House of Assembly, he prioritise within his capacity, the welfare of his people, infrastructural development with more emphasis on the rural communities.
The Deputy Speaker who spoke briefly to journalist after inspection of the Grading/Opening of Ubelle/Allor road and the clearing of Ankpa Oturkpo road hinted that, part from easy movement of farm produce to markets, the social life of all the people from Okenyi/Ejinya/Amoke down to Ubelle/Allor community along the roads will also be improved. In his words; “The New Direction Government will not relent in its efforts at ensuring that life in the rural areas becomes a thing of envy by the people living in the urban centers such that rural-urban migration can be reduced to the barest minimum.”
He charged the Engineers to carry out their job as fast and efficient so the people can ply the road.
