Inyologwu community in Ankpa LGA was agog today as dignitaries from nooks and crannies converge to remember and pray for the late political icon, a political professor and an elder statesman, Late Alh. Ibrahim Linco Ocheje - AILO. Who passed away June 21st, 2019 after a brief illness.
The Deputy Speaker and member representing Ankpa 1 constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed and his entourage was on ground to pay homage to a man whom he best describe as his "Political father and mentor" while on earth. He pointed that, the demise of the former Kogi East Elder Advisory council chairman was a great loss to the party, Ankpa LGA, and Kogi State as a whole. In his words; "AILO was a man of so many ideas politically. We missed his guidance and magical ways of politicking. He left us when we needed him to reshape things, may Allah rest his soul". He said.
Party leaders, Islamic scholars, elected officials and political appointees, youths and women groups were all in attendance to offer prayers to the late icon.
