The Deputy Speaker expressed shock over the incident which he described as evil and barbaric, for a man to kill two unarmed women at a farm over issues that may be resolved peacefully and amicably. While expressing confidence in the security architecture of the state, headed by the SSA security in Ankpa LGA, to fish out the perpetrator, he said as stakeholders they would not leave any stones unturned until the culprit is brought to face the law. He prayed for the peaceful repose of the souls of the deceased and asked for divine fortitude for the families and relations left behind, and sue for peace between affected communities. A community philanthropist and traditional herbalist known within and outside Kogi State, Chief Dr. Aduh Salisu - Baba IFA Irukere AYA Orunmila, a native of IMANE in Olamaboro LGA has urged sons and daughters of the community within and outside KOGI State, to be involved in the development of the community. Baba IFA made the call on Saturday in his hometown IMANE Etèke during the commissioning of roundabout, which he built for his community. According to Chief Irukere, “a lot can be achieved in the development of our communities if individuals blessed by God give back to the society.
