ANKPA: YOUTHS COMMEND AHMED AHMED, URGE HIM NOT TO BE DISTRACTED

The Chairman, Oturkpo Road Youth Movement, Comr. Ali Mohammed Ali has commended the member representing Ankpa 1 State constituency and the Deputy Majority Leader of the Kogi State House of Assembly Lokoja, Honorable Ahmed Mohammed over his gesture to the Youths and people in Ankpa community, urging him to not to be distracted by those who may be envious of his towering achievements.

Speaking further on the unprecedented love shown during the commissioning of Ankpa/Oturkpo road water project on 1st January, 2018, the youth leader said, ‘’Ahmed Ahmed to many of us is the only man who has selflessly demonstrated unqualified love for everyone despite political and ethnic differences and we appreciate his dynamic leadership style and quality. In the last general election, we worked and voted massively against him from this area (Oturkpo Road), but despite that, after all the litigations and victory, he carried everybody along. He has never looked on us as people who worked against him rather he embraced us all. When we approached him and made a request for provision of water, he immediately followed us to the area, flagged-off of the project and we all thought it was a joke, a week after work started and today we are happy that our community is benefiting from this. We are so happy."

Assuring Hon. Ahmed Mohammed of the unyielding support of all the youths and elders, Ali said, ‘’ We want to assure you of our support. We are solidly behind you; Do not be distracted by detractors. We will continue to celebrate you and be with you anytime, anyday.

He was presented an award on behalf of the youths and people of Ankpa community as a selfless leader who has impacted positively to the lives of others.
