KOGI STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY REVIEW;

FEATURING: HON AHMED MOHAMMED OF ANKPA 1 CONSTITUENCY

BY PANAJ

People in Nigeria do not see legislation as a big a deal. This is a stigma that it's stench has eaten up the larger part of our democracy.
legislatison is a very serious arm of every progressive government. And so it is worthy of every progressive individual to hold the legislator from his/her area accountable for exploits, strides and propositions.

The general acrimony of legislators not capable of anchoring big projects should be jettison as it is their duty to act, project and always report to the people. Yes the executive arm of every  government does most of the governmental dealings, but the legislators can always ship in supports to help cover enough ground developmentally so as to enable the citizens enjoy the dividends of good governance commondiously.

Legislators in kogi state should take bold and giant steps like Ahmed Mohammed, who over the year have started and completed some major projects in his area. I will calmly brawl the temptation to start listing those projects here. But I will in my subsequent article on this same issue.

Yesterday, he commissioned yet another set of motorised boreholes for his people. I am still in awe as to were he is getting all the fundings and supports from.
"Abi no be same house of assembly wey people dey were wey dey see?"

I want to commend his good work and I hope other representatives in state who are waiting for election time to come before they remember home should wake up from their stupor.
Only the executive government cannot transform the state.
