Late Evangelist Vitalis Ahanonu was my business mentor, father, friend and confider; Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed pays special tribute.

It is therefore with heavy hearts and in total submission to the will of the Almighty God, the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, that i received with a rude shock, the news of the transition of a true friend, a brother, a businessman and a philanthropist of note, Late Evangelist Vitalis Ahanonu who passed on Sunday 19th July, 2020 after a brief illness.

The late Evangelist was a good man who has used his wisdom, wits, energy and resources to help stitch together the multi-interest and diverse expectations of the people he met. He is one man whom I personally love his counsel, teachings and advises. I could recall vividly in 2009 when I left my boss to start up my business in the marine industry, he has been a strong pillar whom supported me in so many ways. When I decided to join party politics, his support in all spheres was something I cherished a lot. He has supported me by giving me jobs, guidance and always call to check on me. I am however consoled that he lived an exemplary life and left a legacy of selfless service to his community.
I am indeed saddened by this irreplaceable loss and pray especially for you, your family and the relatives at this very difficult period of grief. God will comfort you and grant you the grace to bear this loss and strength to remain steadfast.
Our strength to absolve this saddened event lies in a popular quote by Ernest Hemingway who says,  “Every man’s life ends the same way. It is only the details of how he lived and how he died that distinguish one man from another.”

We will miss you.
Goodbye Evangelist

Signed;
Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed
