RT HON AHMED MOHAMMED: AN AGENT OF YOUTH EMPOWERMENT & DEVELOPMENT.

Youth Empowerment is a process where children and young people are encouraged to take charge of their lives. It is a means of encouraging youths to do great things for themselves and also to make great impact in their society.

Youth development on the other hand, is a process that prepares a young person to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood and achieve his or her full potential. Youth development is promoted through activities and experiences that help youth develop social, ethical, emotional ,physical, and cognitive competencies.

Rt, Hon.Ahmed Mohammed Youth empowerment program aims to improve quality of life of its people through participation and dedication of young and old people of Ankpa Local Government towards the development of the constituency and local government in general.

The five competencies and aims of the youth empowerment of Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed are:

Positive sense of self
Self- control
Decision-making skills
A moral system of belief and 
Pro-social connectedness.

Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed believed that as youths, you are at the center of absolute strength. You think big, hope for the best and envision a better tomorrow, therefore making continuous efforts to turn your dreams into reality.

According to Research and findings, 80% of youths in Ankpa Local Government especially Ankpa 1 constituency has enjoyed the benevolence of Rt Hon.Ahmed Mohammed Empowerment Scheme. Sim, which includes but not limited to the following;

Enrolling over 200 youth in Ankpa Local Government into various field of choices, The categories are:

Tailoring
ICT/Computer Engineering
Fabrication Engineering
Event Management (Women)
Hair making and dressing (Women) e.t.c

Flag-off an educational support programme or project tagged "Operation Back to School Support Initiative" which target primarily on the less privileged Pupils, Student who are passionate about education but may have challenged financially, school uniform, writing materials.
Scholarship were awarded to over 50 students in different Schools in Ankpa LGA.

Courtesy visit to numerous Hospitals in Ankpa LGA and off set their bill.

Donation of motorcycle to numerous youth in Ankpa local government and across his  constituency.

When a youth is equipped with essential skills, he or she can utilize them to feed, assist others, and even invest for future use, aiding the local government  economically. This will in-turn contribute to the increase in employability and add to the GDP of the local government. Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has been outstanding in this aspect. He empowers and support the youths academically to accelerates the spirit of patriotism in the education sector. He knows the importance of education. This is why many individuals sees him as a Messiah.

If success and achievement must count the synergy between the leaders and followers must be established, here come an agent of such Rt Hon. Ahmed Mohammed.

The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. Breaking News: Muri/SDP floors ODODO as Supreme Court grants stay of execution

In a significant development, the Supreme Court has issued a stay of execution on the orders of the Court of Appeal, which were previously granted on March 1st, 2024. These orders had set aside the inspections conducted by the Petitioners, as well as orders G, K, and N of the Tribunal's orders from November 25th, 2023. The legal team representing the Petitioners, led by Chief J.S. Okutepa SAN and including Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, passionately argued for the stay during today's hearing, expressing concern over the irreversible damage the Court of Appeal's orders would inflict on their clients. Responding to their plea, the Supreme Court granted the interim stay and ordered relief in accordance with the motion filed on March 5th, 2024. The hearing on the motion on notice has now been adjourned to March 11th, 2024.

Breaking: Fresh Petition Accuse Yahaya Bello, Ododo of stealing over N300 Billion Local Government Funds

A fresh petition before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has accused former Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, of conniving with others to either loot or misappropriate over N300Billion allocation to the 21 Local Governments of the state between May 2016-January 2024. On Wednesday, operatives of EFCC had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an ongoing fraud investigation. But Ododo arrived the former Governor’s residence and helped him to evade arrest by smuggling him out. However, the fresh petition listed all the 21 immediate past Local Government Chairmen who served during Bello as co-conspirators in the looting of the over N300billion LG funds. The petition signed by a group known as Kogi Conscience stated that in 2016, N23.1billion was received as Kogi Local Govt Allocations and in 2018, N43.6billion was received.
