KGHA: Hon. Ahmed Mohammed call on the State Government to save the life of Mr. Suleiman Usman

The member representing Ankpa I State Constituency and the Deputy majority leader of Kogi State House of Assembly, on the floor of the house raised a matter of urgent public importance calling on the state government to come to the aid of Mr. Suleiman Adejoh, an indigine of Ankpa LGA who had a spinal cord Injury as a result of heavy rainfall which brought down his house while he was asleep. The patient in question is currently receiving treatment at Allied Specialist Hospital and diagnosis center, Gwagwalada, Abuja FCT.
Part of the motion reads;
"The Rt. Hon. Speaker, my distinguished colleagues, as the mouthpiece of the people of Ankpa I State constituency, I bring forth before you the case of Mr. Suleiman Usman Adejoh, whose ugly incidence occurred Friday 18th May, 2018 in his room while sleeping, a heavy rainfall which brought down his house and an entire section collapsed on him inflicting serious damage on his spinal cord and injuries on part of his body".
Recall that, sometime last month, there was a heavy rainfall in Ankpa LGA which led to destruction of houses and valuable properties
The Rt. Hon. Speaker, distinguished colleagues, finance is the major challenge to this man who is dying in pains as it is worthy to state that, time is of essence to save the life of a kogite. The hospital management needed the sum of Two Million, Seven hundred Thousand Naira to proceed with his treatment and the family may not be able to raise such amount of money".
Honorable Victor Adewale Omofaiye of Ijumu state constituency while seconding the motion prayed for quick recovery and pleaded the matter be given very urgent urgent attention.
The speaker of the house, Rt. Hon. Mathew Kolawole while ruling on the motion direct the clerk to immediately send a resolution to the state executive to save the life of Mr. Usman.
