Ramadan: Hon. Ahmed Mohammed to host Quranic Recitation/Competition

PUBLIC NOTICE!!!

MAIDEN QUR'ANIC RECITATION/ COMPETITION

This is to inform the general public that there would be Qur'anic recitation/ competition for the students of Qur'anic knowledge in all the five (5) wards in Ankpa I Constituency. 


The competition is spread across thirty days during the Ramadan fasting.

It has the following stages:

Stage 1. Sunday 20th May, 2018 (Opening Ceremony) 

Stage 2. 26th May, 2018

Stage 3. 9th June,  2018

Venue: Ankpa Township Stadium 

Time: 10:00 am prompt

Participating students will be tested at various levels and on the 16th June 2018, prizes and gifts would be given to prospective winner's.

The general public is by this notice, informed and equally invited to honor this program in the glorious month of Ramadan.

Residents of Ubelle/Allor Community Commend Kogi Deputy Speaker for Grading/Opening Abandoned road.

The Deputy Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, who is also a member representing Ankpa 1 state constituency, Rt. Hon. Ahmed Mohammed has received commendations, prayers and words of encouragement from the people of Ubelle and Allor community, as equipments arrived and have started opening and grading of the major rural road. The road which passes from Ubelle to Allor has long been abandoned and not accessible. While visiting the communities that were badly affected by constant rainfall and erosion, the legislator assures the community that measures will be taken to ensure that, the major access road that link Ubelle to Allor which was long abandoned shall be open to make movement of their goods and other economic activities easier. Kogi: Bill to Establish Youth Development Commission Underway: Hon. Ahmed Mohammed
