The value and pride of every given society is anchored on the level of actual representation gotten from their representatives. Ankpa 1 constituency is not an exception to this crucial political benefits which is as well a protection of our political rights.

Dear Honorable Ahmed Mohammed, You've always come down like a messiah sent directly from heaven to give the poorer section of the society a voice, inducing in them the spirit of oneness rather than self-driven interest. And on this account, a lot has been achieved in recent times.

Leaders have great influence on the life of the people they lead, *Honourable sir* ! Being of the youthful age with a great mindset and positive attitude, you have been able to set a standard amongst the youth, painted a positive picture of the political life of our noble country to a large extent arousing people interest and in turn, bringing about proportional participation and discharging their political and civil rights when and where necessary.

The major occupation of our people being farming and trading. On a daily basis businesses are carried out freely with much guarantee and properties well safeguarded giving us an ordered environment free of all social vices and rancor. It is worthy of note that this has affected our society positively through peaceful inter-community relations, increased our revenue base, having enough money in circulation and creating job opportunities in our business environment.

Moreover, how can we forget your unending philanthropic move to make sure the last man in every household get supported within our constituency and it neighboring environs. May Allah(S.W.T) reward you in thousand folds.
  
The people of ANKPA 1 acknowledge your unrelenting contribution to the life of our people, and so we call upon you to please come back to our salvation!!!

The Science Quiz Competition organised for Students in Ankpa LGA at St. Charles College, was greeted by so many people who troop in to see the display of academic knowledge of our teeming youths in Ankpa LGA. The competition was strongly contested among Ten (10) secondary schools viz; Comsaldocg’s College Ankpa, Aleka Academy Ankpa, Global College Ankpa, St Charles College Ankpa, Redeemer Secondary School Ankpa, Community Sec. School, Demonstration Sec School, Unity Comprehensive Sec school, Dynamic International Group of School, Ankpa LGA Special Day Sec. School, and Govt. Girls Sec. School Okaba. The Science subjects selected for the quiz programmes are Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics. Breaking News: Muri/SDP floors ODODO as Supreme Court grants stay of execution

In a significant development, the Supreme Court has issued a stay of execution on the orders of the Court of Appeal, which were previously granted on March 1st, 2024. These orders had set aside the inspections conducted by the Petitioners, as well as orders G, K, and N of the Tribunal's orders from November 25th, 2023. The legal team representing the Petitioners, led by Chief J.S. Okutepa SAN and including Shaibu Enejoh Aruwa SAN and other lawyers, passionately argued for the stay during today's hearing, expressing concern over the irreversible damage the Court of Appeal's orders would inflict on their clients. Responding to their plea, the Supreme Court granted the interim stay and ordered relief in accordance with the motion filed on March 5th, 2024. The hearing on the motion on notice has now been adjourned to March 11th, 2024.

Breaking: Fresh Petition Accuse Yahaya Bello, Ododo of stealing over N300 Billion Local Government Funds

A fresh petition before the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has accused former Kogi state Governor, Yahaya Bello and his successor, Usman Ododo, of conniving with others to either loot or misappropriate over N300Billion allocation to the 21 Local Governments of the state between May 2016-January 2024. On Wednesday, operatives of EFCC had stormed Bello’s residence in Abuja in an attempt to arrest him over an ongoing fraud investigation. But Ododo arrived the former Governor’s residence and helped him to evade arrest by smuggling him out. However, the fresh petition listed all the 21 immediate past Local Government Chairmen who served during Bello as co-conspirators in the looting of the over N300billion LG funds. The petition signed by a group known as Kogi Conscience stated that in 2016, N23.1billion was received as Kogi Local Govt Allocations and in 2018, N43.6billion was received.
